Opathian Session Cards Volume One

A teaser set consisting of three cards, available in PDF format and printable.

Opathian Session Cards, Volume One — The Stall · The Vigil · The Reach

Three surreal pictures, each named after an Opathian emotional state, which is a state that exists but isn't spoken about. These cards exist for one purpose: to give someone a way to point at what they cannot yet say.

Lay them on a desk. Ask: Which one is closest to where you are right now? No words required. No explanation needed. The image already knows.

Each card carries a full-bleed photograph from the Opathian Photography Collection—made by hand in Toronto, no A.I.—alongside a condition name and a single-line descriptor.

The Stall—When forward motion stops and you don't know what stopped it. The Vigil—Standing in open uncertainty. Holding ground. Waiting. The Reach—Something wants that you cannot yet name.

Designed for structured listening sessions, clinical conversations, and any setting where visible distress is absent but something is still present underneath.

What's included One PDF containing four pages: a title and instruction card followed by the three session cards. Also included as individual high-resolution JPEGs for digital or print use.

Specifications Format: 4×6 inches. · 300 DPI · Lora Serif typography PDF: 4 pages · 0.9 MB · print-ready Individual JPEGs: 1200×1800 px · 95 quality · 175–315 KB each
