What happened, and how it landed.
Twenty years ago, I became a sleep clinician in Toronto, helping people navigate restless nights and anxious minds. Then everything collapsed at once—friendships, relationships, career—and suddenly I was the one who couldn't sleep, couldn't breathe, couldn't find solid ground. Nobody fixed me. No one could.
Instead, I learned something that changed everything: I learned to witness myself. It was messy and took decades, with each effort targeting different wounds, different collapses. But somewhere in that witnessing, I discovered what healing actually looks like—not being solved, but being seen. Being broken apart and reassembled from the inside out.

Now I work with people who feel disconnected from themselves, helping them turn dissociation into strength by utilizing my writing, photography, and structured listening sessions. I don't offer therapy or quick fixes. I offer what saved me: the experience of being witnessed. My sessions focus on "mini-traumas"—those emotional paper cuts everyone dismisses as "not a big deal" that somehow add up to bleeding out.
I wrote The Gate, a spiritual fiction novella about transformation, and create surreal miniature photography exploring "THE OPATHIAN STATE"—that hollow feeling when emotional depths seem unattainable, yet you yearn desperately to feel. I work with people who've grown tired of being told they're "too sensitive." They've learned that hypervigilance isn't a flaw, but rather a sign of intelligence. And they understand that disconnection isn't weakness, but a survival strategy that can become a source of personal strength.
